Nestled in the heart of Shields Valley, Crazy View Ranch is a stunning 160± acre property, just a 1/2 mile southwest of Wilsall, Montana, with panoramic views of the Crazy Mountains to the East and Bridger Mountain Range to the West. Crazy View Ranch is accessible year-round, with no covenants or deed restrictions. Also bordering a 160 acre state land parcel with adjoining large land owners, there is additional acreage for recreation that is not accessible to the public. This fertile ground boasts a developed spring that serves as an abundant water source to the land, nourishing its natural vegetation, all the while providing a place of rest and respite for livestock and wildlife. Whitetail and mule deer, antelope and the occasional elk herd, as well as game fowl including Hungarian partridges, are all known to frequent its rich landscape. For the fly-fishing enthusiast, the Shields River – plentiful in rainbow, cutthroat, brook and brown trout – is only a mile to the east and the famous Yellowstone River, only 20± miles south. The ranch’s convenient location allows for quick access to Wilsall, a charming western town, in addition to only being a 50±-minute drive to Bozeman, where world-class amenities abound, and a 30±-minute drive to Bridger Bowl Ski Area. With power available from Shy Road, properties like Crazy View Ranch are few and far between.
