Twists and Turns:
How does a teacher and someone with a premed degree end up thriving in a real estate career? Because I care about people and their well-being. I take seriously the responsibility of helping others with one of the largest financial decisions in their life. Homeowners have an average of 44% more wealth, and I want that for my clients. Real estate investing has become even more important and sturdier than investing in the stock market. My goal is for my clients to love my service so much, they can’t help but refer me to their family and friends.
Caring for the other half of my life is also very important to me. I enjoy having two grown daughters, Madison and Hailey, and watching them grow in life. I still have a 16-year-old son, Colton, and a 18-year-old daughter, Tia, at home. Building memories with my kids is very valuable to me. We love playing in the outdoors, it seems mostly in water, enjoying out pets, Remmi, a mini-Australian shepherd, and “Kitty,” our cat. We also play games likes Progressive Rumi and Pinochle (usually I’m bribing my kids for game time). My time with my kids is invaluable to me.
I am also blessed to be married to Michael Schaan, my best friend and teammate. My favorite time together is our morning coffee time which can easily last an hour.
My heart is to help woman and children recovering from domestic abuse which has led me to create “Hope Harbor Transitional Living,” a temporary rental assistance and counseling support plan for those struggling with the financial and emotional challenges after leaving an abusive situation.
My other interests include trail running, weight training, quality time with friends and loving God.
