A native of Illinois, I came to Montana for graduate school in the 90's and fell in love with the mountains immediately. After reluctantly leaving for job opportunities, I was able to move back permanently in 2003, and feel lucky that I was able to raise my three children in such a beautiful and adventure-filled area. I feel a special affinity for other transplants like myself, and know that choosing where to make your home has never been more important .
